The GHOST POACHA is a freeride mountain bike made for riders who want maximum confidence when the trail points down. It is built around a full carbon frame, long-travel suspension and a tough component package, giving you a proper gravity bike for bike parks, big jumps, steep descents and rough technical terrain.
The frame uses GHOST HIGH Carbon construction, giving the POACHA a strong and stiff platform without the weight penalty you might expect from a bike this capable. GHOST has designed the POACHA as a Category 5 gravity bike, meaning it is ready for hard riding, heavy hits and demanding freeride use.
Suspension is one of the biggest selling points. Up front, the RockShox ZEB Select Charger RC fork delivers 180mm of travel with a stiff 38mm chassis for better steering precision and confidence on rough terrain. At the rear, the RockShox Vivid Select shock controls 180mm of travel, giving the support and sensitivity needed for fast, technical and high-impact riding.
The POACHA uses a mullet wheel setup, with a 29 inch front wheel and 27.5 inch rear wheel. This gives you the rollover and stability of a larger front wheel, while the smaller rear wheel helps keep the bike agile, playful and easier to move around on steep trails, corners and jumps.
Braking power comes from SRAM Maven Bronze 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes. These are built for gravity riding, giving strong and controlled stopping performance when you are carrying speed into steep sections, bike park berms or long descents.
The drivetrain is handled by SRAM Eagle 70 T-Type 12-speed gearing, giving the POACHA a strong and reliable setup for gravity use. Continental Kryptotal tyres add the grip and support needed for loose, rocky and aggressive terrain.
GHOST has also made the POACHA highly adjustable. The Flip Chip lets you switch between high and low geometry settings, while the Reach Adjust system allows fine-tuning at the headset.
